"The
Three Horseshoes"
The
"Thee Horseshoes" stands four-square on the crossroads at the centre of
this village. It was formerly a shop property which owner Mr Ian Salmon
has made into a very succesful pub which serves superb food. Don't
expect plush surroundings! It's bare boards and basic, but don't let
that put you off. The awards from "Good Food" to Egon Ronay to Good Pub
Guide won year-in year-out are countless, and the food is always
top-notch home-cooking.
It does get busy in-season (and out, sometimes!) There's ample parking
space in the field diagonally across the cross-roads.
A three-course meal for two with wine comes out at no more than
£30. (I've lost count how many times my wife and I have been-
and never been disappointed)
